When asked about the most valuable skills gained, our intern didn't hesitate. "Navigating HubSpot and mastering data visualization," they said. From creating a competitive analysis deck to understanding the nuances of CRM, they’ve added some serious skills to their toolkit. We like to think HubSpot won’t know what hit them!
Who says work can't be fun? Our intern's creativity shined through in their blog post comparing "Michael vs. Toby" from The Office to ServiceNow’s AI tools. Not only did this project showcase their understanding of ServiceNow, but it also brought some well-needed laughs. It’s not every day you connect corporate tools with one of TV's most iconic rivalries!
The biggest challenge? Designing a standout newsletter with limited HubSpot templates. But rather than give up, our intern embraced a bit of creative problem-solving. By collaborating with yours truly (Marci) and doing some research, they found a clever workaround: designing emails using Canva. Talk about thinking outside the (in)box!
Reflecting on their time here, Lola intern shared how the experience broadened their understanding of marketing. "I’m especially interested in content marketing now," they said. It’s always inspiring to see how hands-on experience can shape career aspirations. We can't wait to see where this passion takes her!
Not only did our intern sharpen their professional communication skills, especially in the B2B space, but they also gained personal confidence in their ideas and abilities. This is what we strive for at Astrica—a place where growth isn’t just a buzzword, but a daily practice.
When describing our company culture, our intern compared Astrica to Cheers—a place where "everybody knows your name." It’s true; we pride ourselves on a collaborative, flexible, and open-minded environment where every team member’s voice is heard and valued. And yes, it helps that we have a few folks who’d fit right in at a neighborhood bar!
As Lola's summer internship wraps, she's heading back to Vanderbilt to finish her studies in Psychology, Business, and Cinema and Media Arts. Their goal? A career in film and TV marketing—a perfect blend of their interests and talents. We’re certain they’ll make a significant impact wherever they go.
When asked what they'll miss the most, she didn’t hesitate: "Reading everyone's blogs every week and the cashews." Do not worry; Lola is going to continue to provide support to us while she is at school. We're working around her school schedule for as long as possible!
To our fantastic intern: Thank you for your hard work, enthusiasm, and the positive energy you brought to Astrica. You’ve left a lasting impression on all of us, and we can’t wait to see what the future holds for you. Remember, our door (and snack drawer) is always open!
